Intel GMA 950 driver for Windows XP Professional

Ok so I have a mid 2007 white MacBook that has an Intel GMA950 graphics in it. Here are the specs:

Intel GMA 950:

Chipset Model: GMA 950
Type: Display
Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 64 MB of Shared System Memory
Vendor: Intel (0x8086)
Device ID: 0x27a2
Revision ID: 0x0003
Displays:
Color LCD:
Resolution: 1280 x 800
Depth: 32-Bit Color
Core Image: Hardware Accelerated
Main Display: Yes
Mirror: Off
Online: Yes
Quartz Extreme: Supported
Built-In: Yes
Display Connector:
Status: No Display Connected

Now here is my deal. I'm running Windows XP Professional through VirtialBox. Everything installed fine but for some reason when I check the Device Manager it is showing that there is no driver for a Video Controller (VGA Compatible). Now I know the GMA 950 is an Intel Product (duh obviously) so then that should mean that there is an appropriate driver out there for it am I wrong? I've searched all over the Intel site and have found nothing that works. I'm really getting irritated by this and would really like to just get this driver and call it a day.

So if anyone out there has any information on this that can help me please let me know! =)

Thanks in advance

Evan

Hi Evan,

did you install the VirtualBox Addtions for Windows yet ?
See here http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04.html#additions-windows

VirtualBox like any other virtualization app (Parallels and VMWare Fusion) don't use the graphics chip/card natively, but use a virtualized graphics chip/card for which they have their own driver.

With the installation of the VirtualBox Additions this driver is installed.

Hope it helps

Stefan

OK Thanks! I'm having a little trouble understanding exactly what I am supposed to be doing. Can I access this now after I have already installed Windows on the virtual machine? And how do I access this? The directions seem a bit vague here (either that or I'm just stupid lol).

So if anyone could maybe take the time to clear this up for me in any way? Much appreciated!

OK well this is crazy. After following those instructions and installing everything on my windows install is going haywire... that mouse integration may be the cause of it because it keeps reading a mouse button right click on everything and all my stuff randomly opens and then my tool bar ends up on the top and weird crap like that..... And its all gittery and buggy and whatnot.....
