How to test the speed of the LAN?
Hello.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a simple tool for testing the speed of the LAN? I've tried installing Iperf, but I just can't get it running under 10.6 (plus, I don't really want to have to install it on every machine just to test the speed between the two).
I've also been testing IPNetMonitorX via the "Link Rate" option and this is giving me exactly what I want, but before I purchase it I just want to check and see if there's a free tool for this sort of thing (since I don't need any of the other functions available in IPNetMonitorX).
Thanks,
Kristin.
