Magic Mouse surface too sensitive?

I don't know about anyone else, but using the Magic Mouse in Photoshop or Illustrator is extremely frustrating.

When I'm working on something detailed, just the slightest touch of my finger hovering above the surface can send my canvas moving in any direction and sometimes it just flies off the screen.

I think there needs to be some sort of sensitivity control in Preferences.
