Maintage/Ableton, 2 Midi Controllers, Disable Controller in Mainstage

Hi,
i have setup a Midi Keyboard and an Akai LPD8 and i use Mainstage and Ableton.
Now in Ableton in can select which Midi Inputs i want to use. (Midi Keyboards, LPD8, both,..) In Ableton i only want to use the LPD8 and Mainstage should only use the Midi Keyboard so i just disable the MidiKeyboard in Ableton.
But Mainstage also receives the LPD8 signals.
How can i tell Mainstage to only listen to the MidiKeyboard input or disable the LPD8 within Mainstage?? Thanks, Daniel

There are a few ways to do this, here are the two most straightforward:

1. When you add/define the keyboard in the Layout, define the device associated with that keyboard object as your Midi Keyboard (Layout mode, Screen Ctl Inspector, Device)

2. Use different MIDI channels for each device and define the MIDI channel you want for the object (Layout Mode, Screen Ctl Inspector, Channel)
