Editing start & stop time not working properly

I enjoy the feature of being able to take snips of mp3's and creating aac's. After upgrading to 9.1.0.79 I noticed you can no longer right click for the option to create aac. You have to go to the advanced menu on top to access this. Now to the real disappointment 😟. I go to a song right click -> get info-> options and under start and stop times I edit them the way I like and it don't work properly. It will start where I tell it to but continue past where I tell it to stop. Before the upgrade this was not a problem. After editing my start and stop times I would simply create the AAC version and have my snip, now it just converts the whole song. Any help anyone. Apple please fix this 😟

I have the same issue. I'm trying to make some ringtones from my mp3's.
Start time is working ok. Stop time is working with obvious BUG. iTunes take stop time and add it to start time to determine end. That would be ok if the stop time value can be lower than start.
For example:
Start time: 0:10
Stop time: 0:30
Track plays from 0:10 till 0:40.

Minimum length of play is (Start time + 1s). For above example minimum segment is from 0:10 till 0:21.
If your start time is 0:00 than it works as it should.
