cannot connect to YouTube on Ipad

When I click the YouTube icon on the home page, I get an error message that says "Cannot connect to YouTube". Even when I try to sign in with my YouTube account, it still will not connect. Everything else works ok, including internet connection.

Working fine here, perhaps the YouTube server you are connecting to is experiencing problems.
Only other suggestion is power device down, turn back on or try a restore.

This happened to my iPad until I connected it to the computer and browsed the iTunes Store.

I did a "re-sync" on my Ipad and got it working..thanks!

Having the same problem on mine. Both Safari and the general Youtube app are telling me this. I will try a sync with the mother ship that I was hoping to avoid as I decide which laptop / desktop I want to dedicate to the iPad.

oh and I forgot to mention it is not an internet connection as I access Youtube fine on the same connection using a MBook Pro, a couple of touches and an iPhone. 🙂

So after a sync with the Mac youtube came back to life so problem solved. I am not sure why a sync did to cure that problem but it did.

I'm having the same problem. Tried syncing, re-syncing. Restarted. Restored to factory settings... Nada. Anybody else with this issue.

Thanks whatheck, I connected it to my computer, loaded the iTunes store, then did a sync and everything works great now!
