Try plugging in the headphones that came with your phone. Sometimes when you disconnect a device at an inconvenient time for the phone it decides to still make the sound from calls go through the headphone port rather than the speaker. When I and others have had this issue it has fixed it.

Usually when this occurs it is because the mute/silent switch has gotten activated? It's the shiny little switch on the upper left edge. If you see the red dot it is silent mode. Check that first.

I have the same problem. The mute button is NOT activated. The problem is only for incoming calls since all the other sound functions work fine - alarm, iPod, etc.
Could it be something to do with the latest update?
