converting a .ogg file?

I was given a .ogg video file that I am unable to import into MPEG Streamclip to convert for FCP. Anyone have any ideas of what I can use to convert it?

Thanks.

Ogg is a video/audio file format. It's useful knowing about it because, while everyone is debating over which video codec to use in HTML5, there is no such debate with the audio side of things and so it is likely that Ogg Vorbis will become the future audio codec of the web.

To answer your question, you can get an Ogg decoder here: http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/

Sheesh. Just what we do NOT need around here, another non-standard standard.

With Apple backing HTML5as the death-of-Flash, I suppose we can expect a series of updates for Compressor and one or two inquiries every day until the iPad becomes ubiquitous.

Professionally speaking, thanks, Jon for the heads up. We hate Flash at my shop but we despise .wmv even more. To get our IT dept to adapt HTML5 is a decision way out of our pay grade.
