When i start my computer i get a message saying, "the procedure entry point Sqlite3preparev2 could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite3.dll" so what to do?
I have the same problem I think since the last ITunes (or IPhone perhaps) Software Update failed installing 'something'. After that ITunes cannot properly syncronize my IPhone because 'Syncr process has been unabled in this machine' and when I try to enable it the message I get is 'Cannot load the data of the Sync Services suppliers' (or something like that, because I am translating from the Spanish message)
When i start my computer i get a message saying, "the procedure entry point Sqlite3
preparev2 could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite3.dll" so what to do?
You've got trouble with one of your Apple Application Support dlls, J. The iTunesHelper background process uses that, and that loads on start-up ... so that's why you're getting the message after rebooting your PC.
Do you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Vista?
What version of iTunes do you currently have installed?
🙂 Many thanks. In that case you'll have an Apple Application Support 1.2.1 in place and it should be easier to swap out the dlls. (A bug in 1.0.1 and 1.1.0 meant this technique wouldn't work.)
In Computer, open Local Disk C: or whichever drive your program files are installed on.
Open the "Program Files (x86)" folder.
Open the "Common Files" folder.
Open the "Apple" folder.
Open the "Apple Application Support" folder.
Drag the SQlite3.dll file out on to the desktop.
Now head into your "Unistall a program" control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and click "repair". (The repair install should drop a new copy of the dll in the above location on the PC.)
Does the repair install go through okay? If so, do you still get the message when restarting the PC?
Hey Everybody, your problems with the AppleSyncNotifier.exe issue are over.
Do this: Go to My Computer, then local disk(C:)/Program Files/Common Files/Apple/Apple Application Support then right-click SQLite3.dll file and select copy then go back to the Apple folder then select Mobile Device Support then right-click on the window(not on the files in that folder) and select paste to add that in the folder.
Hope this solves your problem. It did on mine. It's like the exact error message I had on the iTunesHelper.exe issue and it was solved from the message that was added in the forums by an Apple representative.
Go to the 'Control Panel', 'Add Remove Programs' and uninstall the 'Mobile Me Control Panel'. Copying the SQLite3.dll file did not fix it for me... Running Windows XP SP3.
I read through this entire thread, and even tried related threads (who's links were included). Nothing worked. History:
1. I tried upgrading iTunes (using the 9.2.1 upgrade of about 8-9MB), but the "corefoundation.dll" missing error still appeared on startup.
2. I tried repairing iTunes (using the full 90MB+ download of the full program), but the same "corefoundation.dll" missing error appeared on startup.
3. I tried removing Mobile Me (using Control Panel>Programs>Unintall) and that removed the error message on startup, but my iTunes still crashed when starting the program and trying to access the Apple Store. I could still play files in my library, but I can't access the Apple Store.
4. I even tried the copy-and-paste of the SQL file above, and then a restart again, but things didn't change.
5. I even when into iTunes and ran diagnostics. They came up with all "green" lights, except for things that don't apply to me, like iPad and iPhone synch.
7. So, I tried following the instructions here, including copying the corefoundation.dll file into c:/windows/system32 and then doing the registry update, and there was no resolution.
Hi Blue Mystic Ninja,
After updating Itunes and Mobileme, I received the message Applesyncnotifier.exe - Entry point not found. I WAS ALL DAY TRYING TO FIX IT WITH EVEN A SENIOR TECH SUPPORT CHAT AGENT, TO NO AVAIL. Your solution WORKED!!!
THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU.
APPLE: SEE HOW YOU CAN FIX THIS GLITCH IN THE NEXT UPDATE!!!
