iPhone Apps sync with iPad

My husband just bought me an iPad today and when I synced it for the first time he told me to sync it like it was new. But I have some apps on my phone I would love to also have on my iPad but now that it's synced my apps are all acting brand new on my iPad. For example I have a password app and on my phone it's all filled out but on my iPad I have to redo it. How can I sync the apps to my iPad with all the info that's already in the app. I hope this makes sense. Do I need to reset my iPad and start over?

iPad, iPhone OS 3.1.3

The apps install on a new device like new they don't carry your user data with them. I would suggest restoring your iPad with the backup from your iPhone. I'm not sure how it will work but I know when I first synced my iPad iTunes asked if I wanted to setup as a new device or from my iPhone backup. This might do what you want it to do. Post back if you try it.

Also if your password app has a desktop companion app check to see if u can do a wifi sync between the two to fill your iPad app. 1password does this but you need both paid apps on your computer and your iPhone/iPad.

Ya I got that option to but synced it as a new device and not from the backup. When you synced yours from your iPhone backup did all the info from the apps transfer to your iPad? If I reset it all will it give me that option? Ya I have 1Password pro but not for my computer, would be nice if I did. I'm just afraid to reset because I've done stuff with my iPad already but I also don't want to have to redo all the info in certain apps, like the password app, stylish girl (that app took forever for me to set up), occassions.
