Alternative to Safari on iPad?

Having trouble downloading Chrome, Firefox, etc. Anyone know of a way to utilize another browser on the iPad?

iPad, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

You can only use the browsers that appear in the App store or use Safari. Chrome & Firefox do not have iPad versions.

Hopefully you understand the iPad is a closed system, not a laptop. The only apps of any sort you can download are those in the app store.

If you wish to use another form of the internet rather then Safari, Then go into the App store on your iPad and you will notice the surch bar at the top. you would want to type in web browser and you will get a rather good selection of browesers.
