I have a simple question. I have an iTunes account that is set up with a credit card for payments. My son recently purchased a gift card and redeemed it and the balance is showing in the iTunes store. The problem is I do not know how to switch payment methods. When I purchase something I want my credit card to be charged and when my son purchases something I want the gift card to be charged. Right now everything is being charged to the gift card. How do I do this?????

So he redeemed it against your iTunes account?

He should have created his own iTunes account.

You don't switch payment methods. iTunes will use any gift card balance first, then when that runs out, it will use a CC.

Hello! I'm new to this, so please bear w/ me. I am interested in becoming a Mac owner, but I have a question. The Mac I am interested in is $2300. I was wondering if there were any payment plans, or was to make multiple payments over a period of time versus the full amont up front. If there is a way to do this, is it available online or in an Apple retailer? Hopefully you know or can refer me to someone who does. Thank you!

This is the *Using iTunes for Mac forum.*

You can call the Apple Online store (1-800-MY-APPLE) or go into an Apple retail store and see what your options are.
