Safari keeps logging me out...

The same is happening to me since right after 10.6.3 update. I downgraded to 10.6.0 using the Snow Leopard disc, then installed the 10.6.2 combo update. Everything was back to normal. When Apple released 10.6.3 v1.1, I figured I'd give it a try. It's still not fixed. Looks like I'll have to go back to 10.6.2 and sit out until a fix is implemented.

I feel relief that you experienced it. All the level 2 product specialists at apple are clueless, never heard of this and had no suggestions...

do I just reinstall the original Snow Leopard Cd, will all my setting be saved on my computer?
also how did you just do the update before 10.6.3??

Just install the Snow Leopard DVD in the drive while your Mac is running. Double click to "Install" Snow Leopard. When it's finished, you'll be back to just 10.6.0. Everything will be saved. You're not doing a full restore.
After you're finished, go here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL959 to update the 10.6.2 Combo. When that's finished, do a software update, but make sure to UNCHECK the 10.6.3 update. Keep the 10.6.2 Combo file in your Documents, or somewhere you can find it just in case you need it later.
When it's all finished, you should be back to normal. So far I'm not having any issues with Safari 4.0.5 running on 10.6.2. I'm about 100% sure the problem comes from 10.6.3, NOT Safari.

Yes... I'm running GLIMS, but the problem never started until the 10.6.3 update.

Of course it's going to happen on the iPad. It will only stay logged into sites while Safari is open and on that website. Multitasking won't come until iPhone OS 4.0.

Red do you think maybe there is a Glims conflict with the new 10.6.3???

Red,when you went back to reinstall the original Snow Leopard release, did you have to update all the application updates?
i.e. Itunes, iPhoto, ... even the printer updates, which if you remember didn't work properly after the original Snow Leopard release

Can't believe I am back to Firefox! I loved Safari until this happened...
Do the Apple engineers read these boards?

Ok, it seems to be a link between certain websites and safari. I place quite a few bets and I think some of the flash based Asian Bookmakers that I use such as Sbobet.com have a conflict with safari. When I am not using this, I don't log out nearly as often, when I do it is every half hour.

What do you think?

I'm not having any 'log off' problems; but for the last 3-4 days, Safari "unexpectedly quits" and I get the 'close' 'reopen' 'report to Apple' message box. Safari has quit on me 3 times in the past 1.5 hour...while just browsing.

I'm seeing the "login again" problem in WordPress. I'm not using any all Flash sites, so I don't think that's it.

I have also been seeing Safari crash randomly, quite often.

Between the two problems, I've been using Safari less and Google Chrome more.

So it's been almost a month since the original query (and since I myself have started experiencing this login problem) and no solution or fix. Is this the norm? I'm prompted with Mac updates almost twice a week for inconsequential things. This seems a bit important.
