Safari keeps logging me out...

I have had this problem ever since the update. I log into my websites and within 10 mins I am logged out and have to keep logging back in.

Anyone else have this problem?

I am using Leopard 10.6.3... Safari 4.0.5... Macbook Pro.

Help!?!?!

Mac OS X (10.6.3)

HI and Welcome to Apple Discussions...

log into my websites

From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Preferences then select the Autofill tab.

Click the Edit button next to: Other forms

Delete the websites you have problems accessing then click Done.

Relaunch Safari.

If that doesn't help, open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilites)

Select Passwords on the left. Delete the website keychains on the right you have the problems with.

Quit Keychain Access. Navigate to one of the sites in Safari, login with your username and password. You will be prompted to save that data. Click Always Allow. Do that with ther other sites.

If that doesn't work, it may be a corrupted preference file. Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop. Relaunch Safari. If you can login to a site without a problem then move that .plist file to the Trash.

This has been happening to me ever since I did the last Safari update so clearly this isn't an isolated incident (based on the other responses). I tried doing exactly as instructed and it only temporarily fixed the issue. A few hours later, my accounts are back to logging off regularly.

Obviously this is beyond coincidence and certainly beyond individual user problems. Hope this gets fixed soon because I can't tolerate having to log in to all my various accounts every 15 minutes.

Just to be clear, the problem is not logging into the site, it's Safari regularly requiring users to login again even though s/he just did few minutes ago. It only started with 4.0.5 updaate, where as with 4.0.4 one can pretty much stay logged in the entire day.
It's happening for all sites as far as I can tell. It's as if Safari is invalidating the cookies before the expiration set by the web site.

I am having a very similar problem. I can generally stay logged in longer than 10 minutes -- the length of time varies -- but since the upgrade to Safari 4.0.5, I've been getting logged out of websites unexpectedly. Previously, I could stay logged in all day or even for days. But, not since the upgrade. I've tried most of the tips offered here, but to no avail. This has been happening across a wide variety of websites.

The problem is not this forum. It's Safari 4.0.5, it's logging people out on every website prematurely, like in the middle of completing a stock purchase etc.

Here is what seem to be going on. Safari is deleting cookies whenever it clears temporary cache data. And by default, it's setting the temp data size to 5 Mb (Safari -> Preference -> Security dialog)

Work-around, set the "Database Storage" size in the above preference to a bigger size you're comfortable with. Safari will starting corrupting cookies when that size is reached. To avoid that, regularly Empty Cache, and Clear History to keep data under that size.

Safari keeps logging me out...
