Converting 08 to 09 version

I was attempting to import a Keynote into iPad that was created using iWork 08. iPad requires Keynote 09 which is what I am currently running. I tried opening and saving the Keynote thinking it would convert it to 09 but that doesn't appear to be the case. Is there a way to convert that Keynote to 09 so that iPad Keynote can open it? Thanks.
