iPad 3G use overseas
Can I use iPad 3G overseas with any GSM carrier's 3-G data connection?
You would need to get a pre-paid data micro-SIM to use it with a carrier overseas.

Hi, Tamara. First, lemme say that your knowledge exceeds all of the "geniuses" in the Apple stores I've visited so far.
I'm not travel savvy. Where would I get this pre-paid sim card for the iP.A.D.D.? wOULD i get it here in CA or once I land in Europe this fall?
I don't have the P.A.D.D. yet, it's killing me to wait for the 3G. I have the iPhone but have never used it outside the US so I don't have any frame of reference. Thanks.

I am planning to travel to France this summer and being able to use a US iPad there will be enough to motivate me to buy one...but I remember the total mess it has been trying to get an iPhone to work in a different country.
