Key Chain - Expired Mac Sharing Certificate

I have two mac sharing certificates in my keychain for my mac sync account. One has a red x on it and indicates that it is expired. The other indicates that it is not expired. should I delete the expired one? Could this be causing a problem accessing the keychain items that have been synched to this computer? Thanks for feedback.
