Can't get audio clip timed in Keynote '09

I have an audio file where we just drag its icon onto the slide that has an image on it. The file is placed anywhere except on the image.

The Apple store keynote trainers seem to be unable to figure out how to time the audio file when it starts to play, so right now, it comes in about 5 or so seconds after the clip appears.

Any ideas on how to do this? The sound comes in too late.

So if I understand you right, you have a image that has a Build In and you want the audio to start right when the image builds in?

If this is the case, then what you need to do is add a Build In to the audio file to +Start Audio+. Then click the button at the bottom that says +More Options+ and find the Start Audio action in the drawer. In the Drop Down menu at the bottom tell it to Start Build either +Automatically after build 1+ or +Automatically with build 1+. After build 1 will start the audio when the image build in is over, with build 1 will start the audio as soon as the image build in starts.

If this isn't what you are trying, please give us a little more information as to what exactly you are trying to do and we will see if we can help you.
