iPad & iTunes sync is painfully slow and buggy

Every time I sync the iPad with iTunes on my MacBook Pro, I get the "beach ball" with several stalls before it eventually syncs. I have restarted my iPad, MacBook Pro, reset the iPad, restored the iPad to the initial settings, deleted and re-installed iTunes. I contacted AppleCare support twice and they didn't have a solution. Apple knows about the problem and hopefully there will be an update soon to solve the issue.

I finally resolved this issue as follows: (I used some of the advice in this Forum and found the other advice elsewhere)

1) I disconnected my ipad from my PC.

2) I deleted all Apple Programs on my my Windows PC including the registry items. I used both Revo Uninstaller and CCleaner to uninstall the programs. (I did not delete the apps).

3) I then rebooted my computer.

4) Next, I reinstalled itunes on my PC

5) Then, on my ipad, I did the following: First, I closed all of the recent apps in the task bar. Go to your home screen. Double tap the home button to bring up all the recent apps in the task bar. Tap and hold down on one of the icons until they all begin to wiggle. Then tap the minus signs in the upper left corner of the icons to close each one. Tap the screen above the task bar to return to the home screen.

6) Next, I resynced my iPad. To restart the iPad, I held down the sleep button until the red slider appeared and the slide to the right to shut it off. Then, I pressed the sleep button until the Apple logo appeared to start up again.

7) Finally, I resynced my ipad to my PC. Everything worked perfectly. I then did the same process on my iphone. Again, everything worked eprfectly.
