wash your hands and they won't be as oily. Really, just wipe it if it get's messy.

Resolution? Get a laptop, or something that - you know - isn't fueled by a touchscreen. 🙂 Of course there are going to be fingerprints.

there are pen and stylus that you can use with these devices. Pogo (and many others) makes some.

But word of advice do not buy the zagg screen protector ! It is impossible to apply! Waste of 30dollars I bought mine in best buy and god I wasted my money it's a piece of crap

If you have ever used an apple multi-touch device, you would know that any stylus other than your finger will not work.

They may have designed one but I would be careful...

we have cleaning products and oleophobic screens to make it easier. but this is something we all learned about glass with our first sneeze into a window as a child.

I can only guess I'm one of the lucky few guys with normal to below normal skin oil production levels, or I have a basic sense of hygiene. Been using my ipad 2 days now and haven't felt the need to wipe my screen to clean it, of course it looks smudged when the screen is off just like my iphone always did, but i cant see it when its on.
go wash your hands, maybe carry around a microfiber lined ipad case so when you pop it in it also starts wiping away oil

My ipad was also super spotted with finger prints but
After cleaning back to LIKE NEW condition.

I drove out and bought a screen protector and now NO MORE finger prints!

Why be careful? I have the Pogo stylus that works great with both my iPhone and iPad. They even use the same one at my Apple store, because the sales associate handed me an iPod and the same stylus to sign for my credit card purchase! I was surprised because that is the first time I had seen someone else using the same stylus I have, and she was an Apple employee.

That is completely false. There are lots of styluses you can buy for the Iphone.


Anyway, try gloves. There are some that don't mess with your ability to use the touch screen.
