Deleting old iphoto library AFTER creating NEW iphoto library

I have had to rebuild my Photo library a few times. I see I have 6 libraries now that I don't need and am afraid is taking up valuable hard drive space. Is it okay to delete these old libraries??? If so, what is the best way of going about this.

Quit iPhoto and drag the unneeded ones to the trash - launch iPhoto and test your remaining library prior to emptying the trash in case you made an error
