Where to find complete list of iPad apps?

Where to find complete list of iPad apps?

I have searched on the app store and I can't find a complete listing of apps anywhere. If I look in each category I think they only show up to 50 apps. But if there are over 3000 apps then how do you fiend em other than doing random searches?

Any help on the topic?

Ps I did find a safari link that took me back into the App store and gave me page after page of iPad apps. But as soon as you left it and came back in, you were brought right back to page 1.

In iTunes, go to the iTunes Store, click on App Store and click the iPad button at the top. You can toggle between iPhone and iPad.

That only gives me so many apps in the game section. The others seems to. But this is only in iTunes on my Mac. It doesn't look like you can do this in any section on the iPad. Just select apps. I wish there was an exhaustive list that was sortable.

The iPad App Store definitely needs a rework. For now, your best bet is to find apps by searching. For example, to find all iPad apps for games, search for "games". To find adventure games, search for that. Word games, enter "word games" as the search. Works the same for all categories. For example, search for "magazine" to get the list of all iPad magazine apps. "Sports magazine" narrows the list to just those. To find ALL iPad apps, search for "iPad" (except see below, because it's going to be a very large list). Then hit "See all".

As you may have already discovered, when you navigate that list (the apps appear in groups of twelve, assuming there were more than twelve found) you have to cumbersomely keep hitting the next arrow for more pages (very slow going). But if you click on an app to check it out, when you return to the list, the store puts you back on the very first page no matter what page you were on when you checked the app. Grrrr! 
