I accidently deleted one of my apple mail notes and I need to retrieve it. I use Time Machine; all I need to do is figure out the location of the actual note files -- does anyone know where they are?

3.0 GHz 8-core Intel Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), two 17" Apple Monitors w/DVI-ADC boxes, PCIe USB hub, Digidesign 002R /Command|8

Your notes should be in the user's Library like below:

    /Users/ericrosenwald/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Notes.mbox

    Hope you'll find it useful.

To use Time Machine with Mail, you open Time Machine from within Mail. Go to your Notes mailbox in Mail, then open Time Machine. Restoring via the Finder in Time Machine would not work.

    Ah Thank You, [ Jeffery Jones2 ] !

I now remember stumbling across this and wondering why I was in Mail and not Finder when I entered Time Machine a while back. <hehe> Now I get it!

Easy restoration of my Mail Notes! All is well again now that I verified iTunes sync is turned "off" and that the MobileMe sync is turned "on"—no more conflicts.
