Copying text into Outlook Web Access

Due to restrictions placed on personal devices accessing office email, the only way I can handle work-related emails on my iPad is through the OWA client in mobile safari. The client renders fine, and accepts text input manually via the onscreen keyboard. However, curiously, I cant copy text from any other application (I.e., pages, numbers, notes, or other webpages within safari) into as new email being composed in OWA.

As a test, I opened the gmail web app and text pasted just fine. Text even copied into the input box here on hhis forum I'm using to write this request. Yet, despite closing and opening safari, logging out of OWA and resetting the iPad I can't copy and paste text into OWA.

Any other users experiencing this issue? Any known or testable solutions out there? Thanks to anybody who can help!
