I'm having the same problem. What's odd is that it was working fine on Monday, now I can't get the cisco password screen to submit.

If you're having problems submitting a username and password to a form-based authentication site after connecting to a wireless network on your iPad:

Turn off Safari AutoFill.

THANK YOU! For days, I was having the identical problem that you responded to (employer provided wi-fi through Cisco). I turned off Safari auto-fill and bingo, connection established.

I also use Cisco Wifi login at work and have a wifi-only iPad. A collegue has a 3G model and connects to the Cisco wifi with no issues. I have the problems that others describe here.

I have had some luck connecting after many retries (turning wifi on and off repeatedly). Today I tried the "turn off Safari auto-complete" trick and got in right away. I can't say that is exactly what made it start working, since I have been able to connect with auto-complete enabled, but I can report that I connected immediately when auto-complete was turned off.

What an unexpected solution. Without this solution, Safari froze every time I tried logging in.

good lord, it worked. Amazing. I have been CURSING this stupid thing as it does it in some hotels, but not others. I travel a lot, and it was MAJORLY pee-ing me off.
