MacBook Pro 15" Intel Core 2 Duo/2.53GHz/4GB RAM/500GB HD, Mac OS X (10.6.3), iPod w/Video 30GB, iPhone 3G 16GB

Pictures that you have on the computer would be the ones that you would sync to the iPhone using iTunes. Photos are placed in a folder on the computer, that folder is selected in iTunes and then you do a sync. When that is done, the pictures are copied to the iPhone. Then, any changes that you make to the folder on the computer will be changed on the iPhone during the next sync process.
Anything that is significantly different for a Mac can be explained by Allan, since he is a Mac, I'm a PCHP p6140f; HP laptop, Windows Vista, 3G 16GB iPhone, 1st Gen 16GB iPhone, 30GB Video iPod , Microsoft Office Pro 2007

I have something similar on my I-Phone 3GS
I take photographs with the phone and when I look to forward them by SMS or e-mail they can't be found
