Pop-up Blocker

Safari 4.0.5 on SL 10.6.3.

I have been getting Netflix pop-up ads for as long as I can remember. The pop-up blocker is not able to stop them.

How are the Netflix pop-ups (and a few others) able to get by?

MacBook Pro 17" - 3,1, Mac OS X (10.6.3), MacPro Dual Xeon 2GHz / iPhone 3G 8GB

HI,

Try AdBlock for Mac / Snow Leopard compatible

Netflix gets by Safari/Block Pop Up Windows for me too but not with AdBlock.

Oh yea...I had AdBlock installed, however I removed it when I was having issues viewing some websites.

Still curious as to how the Netflix pop-up defeats the built-in pop-up.

I'm really loving GlimmerBlocker.
It's the only haxie I have.
No ramifications other than the lack of ads.

Go to www.optmd.com and you can choose to opt out of pop behind ads like those from Netflix. Does Netflix know that the only thing it has earned from me is enduring hostility such that I will never sign up for its service?
