Delete Tabs in Numbers for iPad

This might be a stupid question, but i can't figure out how to delete tabs in numbers for the iPad. Does anyone know how to do this?

MacBook MB063LL/B, Mac OS X (10.6.2), iPhone 3GS

Tap the tab once then wait for a second and tap a second time. This will give you the option of either duplicating e tab or deleting it.

My question was stupid then. I wasn't patient enough to wait a second before my second tap. Thanks!

not stupid. Your just getting used to the way touch interfaces work with programs like this, thats all, its a learning curve.
