Bonjour won't start

I am using TiVo Desktop, which requires Bonjour. TiVo Desktop won't open, because it tells me Bonjour hasn't started. I try to start Bonjour through the Windows Control Panel, and it won't start. I have the latest edition of everything. I have disabled my firewall. Any ideas?

So you tried to manually start the Bonjour service? You can do this by clicking the Start menu and then choose the Run option. Then in the text box that appears type "services.msc". Next, locate the Bonjour service, right->click on it and choose "Start."

Hmm.. I'm assuming you are running the most current version of Bonjour? Several users have reported this same error after upgrading iTunes and Bonjour recently. Try completely uninstalling Bonjour and then installing an older version such as 1.06. Just sort of a work around at least until the issue is resolved. 😉
