if you're too lazy to clear cache each time you should download private browsing app: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/free-full-screen-private-browsing/id368483462?mt= 8&uo=4
it will automatically clear cache, history, etc for you when you exit the app or lock your phone. so no one will know what you've been looking at.
Yes. Go to settings > Safari > private browsing = on. You will notice in Safari your bookmark bar is now black instead of gray.

Safari on the iPad now has private browsing.

There is no being "too lazy" to clear the cache.
Just turn on Private Browsing in Seetings > Safari.
You should notice this topic is two years old when Safari did not have Private Browsing.
