Nokia 6303i Classic iSync plugin

Hi,
Nokia just upgraded their 6303 Classic to 6303i Classic. It has more memory, supports 8GB memory card, better battery life and other enhancements. Even the price is dropped. This is not an iPhone (sigh!) but really a bargain if you don't need to drain your account with 3G traffic or always forget that your phone needs a charge every day. The screen is bright and clear, it uses 3,5mm headphone jack a.o. I really love my iPhone but for hiking, this is my phone!

Just got this nice phone a few days ago and whipped up a iSync plugin since it is not supported in OS X 10.6. Put the file (or folder as it may be for some when unpacked) in your users Library/PhonePlugins folder. Or for all users put in /Library/PhonePlugins folder. You have to make that folder if it doesn't exist. This is tested on OS X 10.6.3 and contacts and calendar works fine. Also bluetooth transfers are much better now since they upgraded to BT 2.2.

I made two versions, one for silver phone and one for black phone. I did not figure out the contact picture syncing but working on that and will post an update when I figure that out.

Note that the Nokia Media Manager for Mac does not work in 10.6 yet but I guess that will be fixed in time.

Is that the same as Nokia Multimedia Transfer? If you hacked up an iSync plugin you should be able to hack this one too. I used to use that with my "unsupported" (by either Apple or Nokia) 6301. Of course, now I have an iPad and it works much better and has much, much better bluetooth.

they both didn't work with my brand new 6303i mattblack. firstly i copied the file for the black one in the root folder Library/PhonePlugins, then i rebooted and i added the phone as new paired device and at the end tried with isync:
'Nokia 6303 Classic is not supported by iSync'
secondly i retried the whole procedure coping the two plugins, but the result is still the same:
'Nokia 6303 Classic is not supported by iSync'
(same behavior on imac and macbook)

...any idea, please?
thank you everyone
