iPad AppStore's horrible interface

Is it only me or is the Apple AppStore for iPad just horrible. Navigation is not very intuitive and it almost always loses the last state after drilling down into the app detail. There's no good way to look through the apps without clicking on show more and when I get several pages deep, click on an app, and go back to the main list, I get back the initial default list and I'd have to make many clicks to expand down the list. For a company who is focused on usability the AppStore is a major failure. Also why can't it download applications on the background instead of taking you out of the store. It's difficult when i want to purchase multiple apps and I have to go back and forth. They should design it and keep it within iTunes instead where the interface is better.

It's true, you should enter comments like these in the feedback section, but I don't believe for a minute that there's nobody here from Apple monitoring these. Besides, it feels good to share a rant with users! The iPad store does indeed suck mightally. The main problem is exactly like you've stated. There's also no way to see all the available apps without doing a search, say, for "games" or "lifestyle." Then you have to click "see all" and do that tedious scrolling through pages of twelve apps at a time. Ugh!

BTW, that n/b mistype happens to me all the time and I always seem to hit the n or the b when I meant to hit the space bar. That's my number one typo correction on the iPad!
