Screen Shot With iPad

Is there a way to take a screen shot on the iPad? With the iPhone if you press the home key, and on off key at the same time it takes a picture of whatever screen is up at the time and then puts in the photo gallery.

A screen shot is an easy what to save and transfer information from app such as Safari. The screen shot save it as a photo you can access through the photo app. One use is for driving instruction when you do not have 3G. You download the map/direction when you have wifi and then save the screen via screen shot and look at them when you are driving.
