How can I use Pages on iPad in landscape so I can use my wireless keyboard?

No, not now, at any rate. Only portrait orientation gives you the menus.

I really wonder, why apple does not do this? I mean it is already implemented for the portrait mode, so it shouldn't be that hard!

Also I want to see some wireless keyboard shortcuts that are especially created for pages (for examples making text bold, italic, aligning in the center, justifying, etc.) and other apple applications. Come on apple, do you really think that people are using pages, numbers, etc. on their iPad without using the wireless keyboard?! It would be just a nightmare. And since we are using the keyboard, we don't want to touch every time we need to make a text bold, etc. At least not for some easy operations. So please add some keyboard shortcuts for this in the next pages update. It shouldn't be that hard!

The answer is simple - in landscape mode the workspace is about 1/2 as tall as when it is in portrait mode. The menubar, if it were implemented in landscape mode, would effectively block out 2 lines of text making a small work area even smaller. The shortcuts still work in landscape mode and it isn't too hard to remember the most used ones.

BTW, if you want to communicate with Apple, this isn't the place. Try Apple Feedback instead.

actually i have just done it (before sending the previous message) I hope that apple will take our requests into consideration. Can you at least write down the known shortcuts so far? These are the ones that I figured.
Command c copies
command z undos
command x cuts
command v pastes
command shift z redos
command space opens international language selection dialogue.
Any others?

Btw, I would definitely give up 2 spaces of writing space to get the menus in the land space mode.

Pages for iPad has now been updated to version 1.1, including the ability to access the ruler in landscape mode. Just go to the Updates section of the App Store to download it. (I was thrilled to see this change.)
