Could not register type library for file iPodService.exe

Hi,

I get an error during installation of iTunes:

"Could not register type library for file C:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe. Contact your support personnel."

The only way to proceed is to click Ignore.

Then I get the following message:

"Service 'iPodService' (iPod Service) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

If I click cancel, the installation rolls back and fails.

Any ideas?
