iTunes was unable to load dataclass information from sync services

Ever since the 9.1 update I have received the error stating "iTunes was unable to load dataclass information from sync services" and have not been able to sync my iPhone to my laptop PC. I have tried the following with no success:

1. Reinstall iTunes
2. Per a suggestion on the forum I ran MobileMe to look for an error when that started up, but it started no problem.
3. Look for duplicate .dll files on my pc, but none were found
4. Checked http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2690 , but none of these apply.

I can sync the phone up to another PC. Does anyone have any suggestions? Below is the diagnosis I ran. Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm running into the same issue with iTunes 9.1 a 3GS iPhone and Windows XP SP3. Tried everything I found online including:

1. Reinstalling iTunes
2. Removing all Apple Products then reinstalling iTunes
3. Clearing out Sync Services folder in Documents & Settings-<UserName>-Apple Computer-SyncServices
4. Cleared out temp files
5. Tried plugging into other USB ports

And a whole lot more. Nothing is working! Hope somebody comes up with something soon.

I had gotten a similar problem, except with "provider services", i believe, but i solved it by copying sqlite3.dll from E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support to E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support. doing that solved my first problem, but now i have been getting the error described in this topic (unable to load dataclass info... etc.). i tried reinstalling itunes (i already had 9.1.1, and thats what i reinstalled) by using the method described on apples site (using the "remove programs" tool in the control panel) and then downloading and installing itunes. when i opened it again, i still got the same error, and just now i got an error saying "the instruction at "0x00aadb6b" referenced memory at "0x00000008". the memory could not be read" it gave me the option to cancel and debug, or to press ok and terminate the program. I tried pressing cancel, and the popup went away but nothing else happened. a minute later the popup was back, so i pressed ok and itunes quit. Upon opening Itunes again, i got the very same error. sorry for the long post, but its really been bugging me. thanks for any help you might give, and if you need anymore info, feel free to contact me.

UPDATE: upon trying to sync, MD crash report tool, ironically enough, crashed.
when it got to the backup part of the sync, i clicked the x button to cancel the backup, like ii always do. after of few minutes of my computer being almost completely frozen, "mobile backup tool" or something like that crashed, and the sync was automatically cancelled.

I think i found a solution!
after much tinkering, i uninstalled itunes using the control panel, moved the folders "Apple application support" and "mobile device support" from E:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple to my desktop, so that they were no longer in use. i then reinstalled itunes, and so far it has worked.

The recent iTunes update did little to fix the problem for me. The first couple of times I synced, I had no problems, but now it has started giving the error message again. I'm getting really fed up now and am absolutely disgusted that Apple wants to charge me $30 just to talk to a tech to fix this seemingly minor problem. Anyone else have a suggestion?

I have the same problem as everyone else. Windows 7 machine - x64. Getting the same error message since version 9.1 of iTunes. Music, podcasts and apps all sync fine with my 3G iPhone. But contacts & calendar info do not. As time passes my iPhone contact and calendar info is getting increasingly out of date.

I tried repairing my iTunes installation. I haven't tried a complete uninstall and re-install because others say it doesn't work and I don't want to recreate my entire library.

Help.
