Removing iPhone apps from iPad Apps list

Open iTunes with your iPad connected. When it appears in the sidebar select it. Click on the Apps tab in the iTunes main window. Uncheck the apps you don't want synced, then click on the Apply button.

Sure. Select the Apps item in the sidebar. All your apps will be displayed. They will be grouped into iPad only, iPod and iPhone only, and Universal. Just select an app and press Delete or CTRL- or RIGHT-click and select Delete from the contextual menu.

You will be asked if you want to remove the app. If you click the Remove button then you will be asked if you want to remove it from the listing or if you want it removed from the iTunes database. If you choose the latter then it's deleted from your hard drive. Otherwise it's retained in the iTunes database but not listed.

Not at this time - it appears they will need to add that feature to iTunes so you can turn off iPhone-only apps in the iPad Apps listing/configuration.

I have a continued question to this, how can you delete an app that is not an app and its not removing from the ipad each time and now its just sitting there even when I click and drag it to the trash??? how can I remove it completely from the ipad???

What is the item? You said it's NOT an app. Is it displayed on the ipad screen? If so, try holding your finger on it until it wiggles, then clicking the x on the icon.

If not, explain exactly what it is...
