Unknown Error (-27) When syncing

Unknown Error (-27) When syncing

So, it seems almost every time I go to sync my iPad, when I first plug it in, it hangs for a while then iTunes comes up with a "Unknown Error (-27)" message.

If I clear that and manually click the Sync button, it then works.

Any idea?

No, that doesn't really help. That's about when updating, and doesn't mention -27 at all.

This is a brand new iPad, has done this since the 2nd sync, and is just when I go to sync it.

It's also been happening on my iPhone for the past few weeks.
I unplug and plug in again, and it syncs the second time.

It may have shown up with iTunes 9. The iTunes update last night (April 27) did not correct the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem or solved it?

I'm having this problem with my iPad 3G but not on my iPhone 3Gs. I also get error (-50).

Update: My wife's iPhone 3GS 16GB has now started doing it too. (-27)

I have a 3GS 32GB and this started for me the past Tuesday... (-27) It seems my photos no longer sync to the phone, however they can be transferred from the phone or removed from the phone via sync....
