Where do camera roll photos go when sync Iphone

They should go directly into iPhoto and should appear in your actual photo library and under the 'Last Roll'

There is no setting in iTunes to automatically import photos from the iPhone's Camera Roll. Photos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are not included with the iTunes sync process except for being included with the iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process.

iPhoto includes an option to launch automatically when a digital camera is connected to your Mac if not already launched when doing so (the iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to a computer when there are photos in the Camera Roll), but iPhoto does not include an option to automatically import photos from a digital camera when connected including when the iPhone is connected when there are photos in the Camera Roll. Importing photos from a digital camera must be manually selected.

I need help.. 😟 i had an issue with my iphone and i had to go get a new one, like replaced. so i did and i came home sync all my things and it last like 2-3 hours... when i finished i looked into my text msgs and they all were gone 😟 even tho i sync it before gone to the store! But the main issues was when i locked my phone with a passcode and re do the same one ive been having for about 3 years... so when i turn it off and got a text, openned it.. omg WRONG PASSCODE!!! locked for about 15.. and the last thing i could do was restore it again! not good.. so i did it and when i finished but camera roll has 0 pictures, after having 2000 😟 omg!! where did they go!!!!! please! help!

Hi I'm having exactly the same problem - after having to change my iphone due to technical problems. I can't find any of the photos I took on my old phone even though everything had been linked to PC first. I'm gutted - PLEASE tell me if there's a way I can retrieve them or find them from anywhere!
