Purchase full length movies?

Anyone know an app that allows allows you to purchase full length movies to your iPad? I know you can rent them on iTunes or the netflix app using your account but what if you want to own it to store on your iPad? Anyone?

How? When I get into iTunes from my iPad, I pull up a movie and it only asks if I wish to rent it for $4.99

Not all movies are available for sale. For some, the content owners have only granted Apple the rights to rent the movie, and vice-versa. If you'll let us know the name of the movie you're looking at, we can look at it as well and confirm.

Actually, I just figure out that it is the HD versions not for sale for the most part. I went to standard def and it gave me the option. My only other question is will all movies play ok on the iPad? When I try to preview it says the movie format is not supported. It says that whether trying to preview in HD or standard def. Makes me wonder if I pay $14 for a movie if it will even play.

Yes, not all movies are available for sale/rent in HD but may be in SD.

For what it's worth, I have no problems previewing movies on my iPad. And I have movies purchased from the iTunes Store and they play just fine. So it's not a problem endemic to the iPad, anyway, but rather would seem to be something specific to your unit or a temporary glitch with the iTunes Store affecting your area.
