Importing video Issue....weird

hello all,

I am importing to IMovie from a new Sanyo Zacti VPC-FH1 dual camera. Everything worked fine for a couple of months, but recently a problem has arisen. Each video clip is only imported 50% - the first half only, and then it ends. This happens to all clips regardless of size and whether imported in bulk or individually. So frustrating.

any ideas why??

advice much appreciated.

Hello - did you solve your problem? It sounds very much like mine - iMovie imports only a portion of the clip before stopping on its own and finishing the import - I can use and edit the clip, but it's not the entire clip and and I can't figure out why it's stopping on it's own.

Hi all. If you read the other posts, it appears that iMovie is only importing "half" the movie if recorded at 60fps. The problem seems to go away if you shoot your movies in 30fps. Kind of stinks, but it sounds like this is working for other people on the forum.
