Sharing iTunes between MAC and PC

I have setup home sharing on my MacBook PRO as well as my Windows XP machine, but cannot share files between them. I have checked to see that the firewall is turned off on the Windows PC and I can share files with another Windows XP machine at home, but my MAC cannot see the iTunes shared music on the Windows PC. I have tried de-authorizing both machines and then re-authorizing them, but this didn't help.

If I run the MAC Finder, it can see my Windows PC, but no Itunes sharing. Am I doing something wrong?

instead, try turning *home sharing* on both machines off, then back on.

I assumed that my wireless and wired networks were the same, but they are obviosly not! When I connect my MAC to the wired network, then I see the Windows shared Machine.
