Email alert for different accounts

Hi.. I have TWO email accounts on iPhone Mail. I want ONLY one to sound an alert upon receiving new messages. The Sound Option for Mail applies to all accounts. Is there a way to get around that and just alert for the account desired?

There is no setting to change that, unless you choose to have the second account set to manual for fetching mail. If it is set to manual and the other account, the one you wish to receive the alert for is set to fetch, then it would emulate only receiving the alert for one account. It is a generic alert that sounds when you receive mail.

While not necessarily what you were looking for, it is a workaround.

Thanks for the work-around.

I wish Apple would have more "depth" in the customization of options, specially the alerts to address this issue in the future 4.0 system.
