Google's Picasa

According to a video introducing Google's Picasa Web Albums, you can select an album in iPhoto and select SHARE to Picasa. This is not so. The only options for sharing are to Mobile Me, Facebook and Flickr.

I think I prefer Picasa to Flickr. Any suggestions????

Mac mini 1.42, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Japonica,

The link given to you by Terence (above) is for a commercial add-on to iPhoto. Once the trial is over you will need to pay for it.

You can, however, achieve a similar (if not the same) result with a free add-on from Google.

The commercial option has a free trial, so you may wish to try it out and compare to see which you prefer.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.

My only concern about that add-on is, according to the site, it

Supports iPhoto 4,5,6 and iPhoto '08 (version 7)

and not iPhoto 09, and as we're in the 09 forum I would guess that the user is using 09.

Have you tried it with 09?
