Desktop wallpaper didn't migrate with migration assistant
Hi, I just bought the 27" iMac and migrated my stuff over from my G5. All's well, with a minor problem - I had a photo for my desktop wallpaper and the wallpaper on the new puter is the standard. I know, just change it, right? The issue is I don't recall the name of the file and when I go into System Preferences on the G5, it doesn't tell you what file you are currently using as your wallpaper (at least I can't find where it does). As I have over 11,000 image files, a manual search isn't going to work. Any ideas as to where I can find the name of my current wallpaper file?
Thanks, Roger - I'm running the last version for the G5 which is 10.5.8 and that didn't work for me. It's not a big deal, but a little frustrating. I'm going to post on the G5 forum as I probably should have from the start.
It doesn't make sense that you can see the picture on your desktop but it doesn't show up in the System Preferences. I'll be curious to see if you find a solution for this one.
