How to change the Terminal to a floating window?

G'day,
I seem to recall that it was easy to make the Terminal window a floating window in previous versions of OS 10, but in 10.6 I don't see an option to float the Terminal. Does anyone know how to do this please?

Thanks,
-Andy

Well I'm so sorry I wasted 5 seconds of your time, Robert. Obviously I wouldn't have taken the time to register here if I had seen that link. I'm so glad that you find the need to inform everyone how stupid you think I am and that I didn't research this prior to posting.

On a side note, thanks for the link. I do appreciate it. I'm sure there is another way to do it without another piece of software, but for now I'll use that Afloat program.

Hi,

I also never found a way to do it without another software. Something as simple as this shouldn't require to download, again, another plugin to add it to the thousands we already have.
A good alternative to the program mentioned above is the visor program. I'm using it since a little while and it has improved the fluidity of my work, regarding the usage of the terminal, more than I expected.
It is not exactly a floating window, but it makes the terminal pop-up wherever you are, using hot key, keeping the sub-window structured, etc... it's there :

I never had any bug so far (I use it since 2 months)

Cheers
