Can't download from iTunes or app store

Make sure you're running the latest version of itunes on your computer, use software update to verify. Then, make sure the date & time are set correctly on your computer. Then, sync your phone. See if the problem goes away after doing that.

I'm having the same problem.

That makes 3 of us. Maybe Apple is having the problem.

I am having the same problem. It started yesterday 4/18 evening. If I try to download apps or even update apps already on my Iphone I get an error message that says "Cannot connect to the Store A Secure connection could not be established. Please check your Date & Time settings." I have checked the settings they are correct. I have tried changing date and time and then changing back.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. This started with me late on 4/18/10 also. I tried syncing my phone again and re-starting my phone, etc. Still nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have an Ipod touch in addition to my Iphone. My Ipod touch gave me the same message but is now working, without me doing anything to it. My Iphone is still giving me the same message. I tried downloading from itunes to my computer (Windows XP) and that worked fine. But the Iphone is still giving the same error.

To add to the numbers, I received same message after attempt to download app-

i had the same problem too. I turned off my wifi and that has worked so far. it also happened when I tried to download from itunes on my macbook. date and time on both are correct

I'm also having this problem and my date and time are correct.

I was able to download an app over my home wi-fi connection. Could this be an AT&T issue along with Apple?

Add me to the list too! Just started today for me. I can't login to my account on iTunes on my PC or on my iPhone. Both give me errors about my date which are correct!

EDIT: Well heck, now that I post that message it finally let me connect on my iPhone! Hopefully iTunes will connect too. I'll try when I get home. Maybe they fixed the problem.

and add me to the list of people who can't get apps.....However I found a quick fix till apple fixes their stuff.

If you change your Date on the Iphone and your computer to april 19,2009....it oddly works. Don't ask me why it works that way but it does.

Let me know if it works.

It is 4/19/10 at 2:35pm EST and I just downloaded an app over my 3G on my iPhone. I guess I'm operational again. Good luck to all others.
