Question

How to modify content of DMG file?

Hello.
I would like to add some files to the content of a DMG file (it's a CD IMAGE) and burn the modified image keeping the same CD properties?
Is it possible?

Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Burn folders always show alias to files. See the help files. Since the original disc is an install disc, I suspect that there are many hidden folders and dragging and dropping won't work. You need to restore or clone the disc. In that case, it's almost impossible to add other stuff to it. I can't help with your goal.

I tried your proposed solution but it does not seem to work.
The original disk DMG is a DMG of an install disk.
1) I mounted that image
2) I created a new BURN FOLDER
3) I've copied all the content of the image into the BURN FOLDER but it seems that the content of the mounted image is just a series of file-alias. Indeed the size-amount is limited to 20MB while the original size of the DMG is 7.4GB.
If I click on the files into the original DMG and I select SHOW ORIGINAL FILES it shows the original files but I don't know where they are and how I can select them.
Any suggestion?

Mount the dmg file, create a new dmg file, copy everything from the first to the second, add the new stuff, and then burn it.
