Hi,
Can anyone help, I have a 5g Nano and I recently acquired a Logik M14004 Ipod dock/clock radio. But when I connect my Nano it shows the msg. "charging not supported with this accessory" Is there any way to make this dock work or update my Nano via. Itunes?
Thanks,

Contact the dock manufacturer. It appears the dock is not compatible with the iPod Nano 5th generation.

If you open iTunes w/your iPod connected, iTunes will inform you if your iPod is updated or not.

    Hi Earth,
Thanks for your reply, I did some more digging online & found this dock is still a current model from Currys/Dixons. I went to my local store with the dock & was informed that there is no way of solving this problem as they have had this happen particularly with the Iphone. Solution-buy another dock but make sure you try your Ipone/nano/Ipod touch before you buy!!!!
THANK YOU APPLE FOR CREATING MORE OUT OF DATE TECHNOLOGY !!!!!!!!

You got that backwards Gramps. It would seem to me that Currys/Dixons is the one that is out of date if their product does not work with Apple latest products. Apparently, they have no intentions of updating THEIR technology to match Apple. There are plenty of updated & latest 3rd party docks that work with the iPod Nano 5th generation. You just didn't purchase the right one. Apple is not the blame for that.

*It is your responsibility to read and/or know the specifications of a 3rd party product to confirm that it is compatible.*
