Can't edit metadata

Hi all,

My wife and I have separate accounts on my MBP, but we use the same iTunes Account (my account that she has access to).

She's just bought a few songs. I logged into my account, tried to edit the data (I keep random bought songs in an album, so I change the album name and track number) and I can't edit anything at all.

Can edit fine in her user account. She can also edit songs that I purchased in my user account.

Any ideas?

MBP (Early '09), 17", 2.93Ghz, 4GB, 500GB, Mac OS X (10.6.3)

Locate one of those refusing files in Finder
Open the Info window
Take a look at the permissions of that file

I guess that you've got read-only rights
